[REDDIT-LOVECRAFT] Public Domain Necronomicon Project

Hello, I wanted to extend an invitation to the Lovecraft community to participate in a Necronomicon I'm making. The idea is to release the thing into the public domain when it's finished, similar to the Cthodiac I made a couple years ago, with zipped folder containing all of the original image assets w/ layers. Here's where I'm at right now with the illustrations. I'm looking for other folks to contribute art, writing, and ideas, and set up the subreddit /r/necronomica for those purposes. The project is in its early stages and is a little amorphous, my ideal timeline is to make a big release about a year from now - if it's especially popular, it can always be updated. Lovecraft's work has never been more popular, and I think there's a lot of value in creating public domain illustrations to accompany the public domain stories, and a go-to necronomicon for use in student films, in-game texts, or "personal use." submitted by /u/al666in
