I’m writing a story that involved the Whateley. Wilbur Whateley in my story is the bad guy but I also want to write him in that he believe he have no other option. His grandfather had told him his whole life that he would never be accepted into society (which may very well be true), he long to be with his father and he want to roam the world with his brother instead of being stuck in Sentient Hill for the rest of their lives. Do you think that can work for the character? Not make him an redeemable character but one you can understand why he did the things he did. I would say his grandfather is the real villain of my story but what do you think?
