Hi guys, I’m helping my friend get the word out about his game adaptation of Dagon, which will be released for free to celebrate Lovecraft’s 131st birthday (on 20th August). We think it might be an interesting way of introducing people to the Cthulhu Mythos.

The demo will become available on 16th June and players will have a chance to check it out till the end of Steam Next Fest (22nd June). We want to gather some useful feedback from the community, to improve the final game.
We’ve just released the demo silently on Steam to weed out some bugs before the festival.

This is why I’m posting here: it would be great to gather feedback among the fans of cosmic horror and the Cthulhu Mythos before we officially announce the demo in the media.
We would love to hear what you think about it - we’re open to constructive criticism, so don’t hesitate to tell us what you really think
submitted by /u/tempsanityeither here or on the Steam forum. One of the main things we’re considering at the moment is adding more optional interactions and choices (currently the game is a 100% faithful, linear adaptation of the story), but all suggestions are welcome.
