Hi guys,
I have found some rules and the grammar of R'lyehian online, but I couldn't find any sources, talking about how Lovecraft came up with the language. I have read comments that assume that he just exchanged some letters to make the language sound alien and inhuman. But Lovecraft seemed to have thought of a kind of grammar and vocabulary, but does anyone know if there was some kind of "deeper creation" involved? Kind of like Tolkien for example?
